DOVER, Del. (June 1, 2014) – Carl Edwards scored a 14th-place finish to lead Roush Fenway Racing in Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Dover International Speedway.
Known as the ‘Monster Mile’ Dover lived up to its name, with both Greg Biffle and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. getting claimed in an early accident after the driver of the No. 47 car lost control and sent both Roush Fenway drivers to the garage with severe damage. Biffle was able to return for a 38th-place finish. Stenhouse’s day was over with a 41st-place finish.
Roush Fenway and the NASCAR Sprint Cup series return to action next weekend at Pocono Raceway. Roush Fenway has won four times at Pocono, including victories by both Edwards and Biffle.
