HEATHROW, Fla., (November 14, 2007) -- David Ragan will carry extra colors on his car during the NEXTEL Cup Series season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Ragan, driver of the No. 6 AAA Ford Fusion, commemorates AAA’s longstanding partnership with The Hertz Corporation with a special addition to his car. Hertz will be featured on the rear deck lid and back of the No. 6 Ford at Homestead. The logo placement highlights an additional AAA member benefit that is in effect this November: AAA members can receive a free tank of gas when they rent a Fun, Green or Prestige Collection vehicle from Hertz for a 3-day weekend or minimum 5-day week.
It marks the first time Hertz has participated in a NEXTEL Cup Series event. Hertz is AAA’s preferred car rental company.
