Biffle to Make His 350th Cup Series Start

Concord, N.C.(JULY 26, 2012) – Greg Biffle will make his 350th Cup Series start this Sunday at the historical Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  Biffle has come a long way since his Sprint Cup Series debut at California in 2002.  Biffle took to the track full time in the Series in 2003 and over the years has earned 17 wins, 11 poles, 77 top-five and 134 top-10 finishes.  In 2000 he won the Truck Series Championship and in 2002 claimed the Nationwide Championship, making the Cup Championship the only title left to achieve.  Biffle would be the only driver to win the championship at all three levels and this season he has his eyes set on it.  After 19 races he has one win, two poles, eight top-five and 11 top-10 finishes.  Biffle led the point standings for 11 weeks straight and his currently third.

“I’m really excited about going to Indy this weekend,” said Biffle.  “We have a brand new, state of the art car and the guys say it’s the best car they’ve ever built, which I’m excited about.  I can’t wait and it’s my 350th Sprint Cup start as well.  I’ve got a lot of great memories so far and I hope some more going into the future, in fact hopefully kissing the bricks this weekend.  But some of my of my most fond memories are my first win ever at Daytona and actually my second win at Michigan, which was my first win on an unrestricted track.”
