Joliet, Ill. (September 15, 2012) – Greg Biffle made his way around the 1.5-mile Chicagoland Speedway in 29.913 seconds earning a 22nd-place starting position for Sunday’s first race of the Chase, while Jimmie Johnson claimed the pole position. The 3M Scotch Blue Ford is the same chassis that won at Michigan and finished third at Indianapolis. Biffle didn’t end practice yesterday the way the team would have liked, so they’ll have to make some adjustments to get up to the front tomorrow.
