Fifth Third On the Car For The First Time In 2014 | Ricky Stenhouse Jr Advance

Stenhouse Jr. on racing at Kentucky:

“Kentucky is my style of track because it is a 1.5-mile rough track. It is close to home so it will be good to see some family and friends. Fifth Third Bank will make their debut this season on our Ford this weekend so it would be great to have a solid run for them this weekend at Kentucky.”

Stenhouse Jr. at Kentucky Speedway

  • Stenhouse has one career Sprint Cup start at Kentucky Speedway where he has completed 100% of the laps.
  • Stenhouse has one top-five and three top-10 finishes this 2014 season.

The Car

  • Chassis RK-893 is the same chassis that Stenhouse raced into the top-five in the first 20 lap segment of the Sprint Showdown. Stenhouse was forced to settle with a seventh-place finish after battling a tight Building for America’s Bravest Ford in the final 20-lap shootout.

Mike Kelley on racing at Kentucky:

“Kentucky is a rough 1.5-mile track, but really suits Ricky’s driving style. The main thing is we practice during the day but race at night so you have to make sure you don’t over adjust on your car. Luck hasn’t been on our side so hopefully we can turn that around in Kentucky and get another top-10 finish.”
