Kenseth Leads Roush Fenway with 3rd-Place Finish in Sprint All-Star Race

Concord, N.C. (May 19, 2012) – Matt Kenseth won the second-segment of Saturday night’s Sprint All-Star Challenge at Charlotte Motor Speedway and led RFR with a third-place finish in the event.

Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards both fell out of the race with mechanical issues and finished 22nd and 23rd. Kensethrestarted in second for the fifth and final 10-race segment, but struggled gaining traction on the restart. He eventually settled in and moved on to the third-place finish.

The teams will return to points racing next weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the season’s longest event of the year, the Coca-Cola600.

RFR has won four times in the famed Coca-Cola 600.
