Concord, N.C. (April 2, 2008) – Greg Biffle will not be the only member of the No. 16 3M/Dish Network team to race this weekend. Saturday night at approximately 8:00 p.m. 10 other members of the team will race four-cylinder racecars in the Hornet Division at Red River Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Red River Speedway is about an hour and a half from Texas Motor Speedway and in the hometown of team mechanic and catchcan man, Ryan Dextraze. Dextraze raced at the quarter-mile asphalt track from the age of 15 until he was 21 when he decided to move to North Carolina to pursue a career working for NASCAR team. Dextraze immediately began working for Roush Fenway racing on the No. 6 car then driven by Mark Martin.
In addition to Dextraze, crew chief Greg Erwin, team leader Bobby Bakeeff, car chief Will Smith, tire specialist Joe Smith, mechanic Glen Waldron, engineer Ben Beshore, front tire carrier Colin Pasi, front changer Brian Bottlemy and shock specialist Billy Manchester will also be racing Saturday night. Biffle is also expected to attend to show his support for the guys who support him every weekend.
