Concord, N.C. (July 16, 2008) - On Tuesday, July 15th, the No. 16 3M pit crew went to the Victory Junction Gang Camp in Randleman, NC for their "NASCARnival" night. They were given a tour of the camp as well as dinner and dancing with the campers. In return, the team did a pit stop demonstration and then assisted some of the campers in the finer points of pit stop tire changing. Two members of the team, Collin Pasi (Front tire carrier) and Ryan Dextraze (Catchcan) volunteered to get in the dunking booth at the end of the night.
Also attending were Michael Klein (Jackman), Kyle Power (Rear Changer), Kevin McDowell (Rear carrier), Brian Bottlemy (Front Changer) and Billy Manchester (Gasman). As it was Western Week at VJGC, the guys all wore cowboy hats to fit in.
Everyone on the team said it was an experience of a lifetime and they hope to return sometime in the near future.
