Concord NC, (May 28, 2009) – As preparations for Speed Weeks were swinging into full gear, Roush Fenway Racing prepared to give 100 members of its Official Roush Fenway Fan Club a special viewing of the Disney Pixar movie “Cars”. The event was held in the Roush Fenway Racing museum media room, where fans received gift bags, served vitaminwater® and given special discounts to the Fan Store.
“Since we consider our fans to be our “stars”, we wanted to do something special for them this year by inviting them to our museum for a private viewing of the Disney Pixar movie “Cars””, states Amy Rowell, director of internet marketing. She also stated that “We are really excited to have the fans here and even more excited that our new “Fan of the Year” Jon Ritt will be on hand to take part in the festivities.”
“The night was a success, anytime we get to meet our fans and do a little something for them, it’s a good experience for us.” states Amy. “Hopefully next year we will be able to do something similar for our fans and their families.”
