Kansas City, Kan. (Oct. 20, 2012) -- Roush Fenway Racing’s Ricky Stenhouse Jr. outlasted the field on fuel in Saturday’s Nationwide Series Race at Kansas Speedway to post his sixth NNS victory of the season and cut the Nationwide Series points lead to six markers. In one of the most improbable and most exciting wins in RFR history, Stenhouse took over the lead on the last lap - having battled back from two laps down earlier in the race – taking the lead from and out-of-fuel Kyle Busch.
The win is Roush Fenway’s 310th NASCAR victory and its 131st in the Nationwide Series. Its RFR’s second NNS win at Kansas and its eighth overall at the 1.5-mile track. With the victory, Stenhouse becomes the seventh RFR driver to win at Kansas.
