Straight from the 2008 RFR Fan of the Year: Jon's Pocono Preview

Hi there Roush Fenway Racing fans!

"We almost got one at Dover last weekend with Greg finishing third, but isn't that how it's been going this year?  Oh well, don't give up hope!  As long as we get into the Chase, it's anyone's game at that point.  I think we'll be fine in the long run.  So it's on to Pocono this weekend for some racing action.  Pocono has got to be NASCAR's most intriguing tracks, with only three turns and varying banking in each turn.  Of course, handling is at a premium here, just like at most tracks, but horsepower under the hood on those long straight-aways is really key also.  RFR has a good history at Pocono, and this may just be the weekend where Carl Edwards gets his first win of the season.  He has run well at this track and there should be no reason to think he, or any other of the RFR drivers, won't run well on Sunday.  I think they will all do well!  My pick would definitely be Carl Edwards this weekend, but I will take any Roush driver to finish first.  We have been close on Sundays, but it's high time to get into victory lane.  Keep up the faith in our RFR drivers!  It's going to happen!

"Also, some of my photos from the Coca Cola 600 weekend are now up on RoushFenway.com.  Feel free to take a look at them.  They are awesome!  Eventually, there will be some videos posted as well.  Those were fun to be a part of!  I had a great time for sure, especially representing the fan base of RFR in Charlotte as the Fan of the Year.  Good luck to all of our teams this weekend at Pocono and to Colin Braun when he races at Texas.  Let's get 'em boys!"

Your 2008 RFR Fan of the Year,

Jon
