John Younger
Senior Director, Business Development
John Younger serves as director of business development for Roush Fenway Racing. Younger joined Roush Fenway Racing in February of 2007 and has been instrumental in developing new business relationships for the organization. His knowledge of racing coupled with his business-savvy has enabled him to facilitate long-lasting relationships with Fortune 500 companies around the world.
Prior to joining Roush Fenway, Younger worked in the IndyCar Series for four years. Younger began as an intern with Eddie Cheever Racing in 2004 and by 2005 was hired to do public relations and sales for the team. In 2006 Younger moved to Vision Racing which is co-owned by Tony and Laura George, as well as actor Patrick Dempsey. At Vision, Younger was responsible for business development and helped facilitate business discussions with over 30 Fortune 500 companies.
Younger earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from DePauw University, located in Greencastle, Ind. where he majored in communication. Younger was also a four-year starter on the school’s baseball team, where he earned all-conference honors and was an Academic All-American nominee.
