Ater Strong Qualifying Run, Night Ends Early for Braun

Avondale, Ariz. (April 9, 2010) – Needing to qualify on time, Colin Braun turned a fast lap of 27.86 seconds to start the No. 16 Roush Fenway Racing Ford in the eighth position for the Basha’s Supermarkets 200 at Phoenix International Raceway.  Even though Braun showed promise and the team delivered fast pit stops, the No. 16 was yet again caught up in an accident on a restart on lap 135.  The team finished 34th.

Colin Qualifies 8th at Phoenix

Avondale, Ariz. (April 9, 2010) – Having to qualify on time, Colin Braun did so with ease and laid down a fast lap of 27.86 seconds.  The rookie will start eighth in the Basha’s Supermarkets 200 at Phoenix International Raceway.  Roush Fenway Racing teammate Carl Edwards turned a lap time of 27.49 seconds and will start from the pole position.  This is Braun’s first start in the Nationwide Series at PIR.

Getting in on Time at Phoenix

Concord, N.C. (April 7, 2010) – After being caught up in a multi-car accident at Nashville last weekend which resulted in a 30th-place finish, Colin Braun will be required to qualify the No. 16 Roush Fenway Racing Ford on time this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway.  He is currently 34th in the owner point standings.  With statistics firmly on his side however, this should not be a concern for Braun or his team, led by veteran crew chief Eddie Pardue.

Colin Braun 2010 NNS Phoenix Advance

Colin Braun will be making his first NASCAR Nationwide Series start in the Basha’s Supermarkets 200 at Phoenix International Raceway on Friday. He has made two previous starts at the one-mile track in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with an average start of 14.5 and average finish of 28.0!  Check out all of Colin's statistics and thoughts on racing at Phoenix International Raceway!

Roush Fenway Racing 2010 Phoenix Advance

Roush Fenway Racing and the NASCAR series head back west this weekend to Phoenix International Raceway, where the organization will look for its 15th and 16th NASCAR wins at the one-mile tri-oval. Roush Fenway Nationwide Nashville Recap

Nashville, Tenn. (April 3, 2010) – A morning rain storm couldn’t dampen Saturday’s Nationwide race at Nashville Superspeedway.  A green track, four-wide racing, spectacular wreck, and fuel mileage game made for a fantastic 225-lap event.  Nationwide point’s leader Carl Edwards raced in the top 10 most of the day and even sustained a small hole in the nose during a five-car accident on lap 115.  But that didn’t hamper his quest for a second championship.  Edwards drove the No.

Colin Qualifies 7th at Nashville

Colin Braun, driver of the No. 16 Con-way Freight Ford Fusion notched his best qualifying effort of 2010 and will start seventh for today's Nashville 300 at Nashville Superspeedway.  The only Roush driver to out-qualify Braun was teammate Carl Edwards.
