Roush Fenway Racing will look to build on a strong effort last weekend at Chicagoland that saw Carl Edwards come up just one place and a few laps short of victory lane.

Joliet, Ill. (July 10, 2010) – The UPS Freight Ford Fusion made its first appearance of the season at Chicagoland Speedway and the sliver car was fast under the lights Saturday night. Ragan qualified 26th and as the sun set during the race the handling on his UPS Freight Ford continued to improve. Long green-flag runs and lightning-fast pit stops got him the handling adjustments and track position he needed to ultimately earn a 12th-place finish, while David Reutimann won the LifeLock.com 400.
Joliet, Ill. (July 10, 2010) – Carl Edwards powered his way to a second-place finish in Saturday night’s LifeLock 400 to lead the Roush Fenway effort at Chicagoland Speedway.
Edwards was joined in the top 15 by teammates David Ragan (12th) and Matt Kenseth (13th). Roush Fenway’s Greg Biffle qualified fourth, was strong early and had a fast Ford before falling out of the race late with a mechanical issue.
Edward’s finish was Roush Fenway’s third runner-up at Chicagoland Speedway.
