Biffle Qualifies 12th at Pocono

After turning in the 10th-fastest laptime in practice, Greg Biffle and the 3M team were looking for a top-10 qualifying effort.  Biffle went out 34th and completed the circuit in 53.114 seconds which would eventually be good enough for a 12th-place starting position.

Greg Biffle 2010 Pocono Advance

Greg is currently 11th in the point standings and 458 points out of the lead following his 3rd-place finish at Indy!  Greg and the No.16 team claimed their best-ever Indy finish last weekend and put an additional 57 points between himself and 13th-place points contender Mark Martin!  Tune in to see if Greg can climb higher up the leaderboard this Sunday with a strong showing at Pocono!  Check out all of Greg's statistics and thoughts on racing at Pocono Raceway!

Biffle’s 3rd-Place Finish Leads Roush Fenway at Brickyard

Indianapolis,Ind. (July 25, 2010) – Roush Fenway Racing’s Greg Biffle may have had the fastest car in Sunday’s Brickyard 400 at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Biffle started seventh, powered his way to the front and led 38 laps en route to a 3rd-place finish in the prestigious event.

Biffle Qualifies 7th to Lead Roush Fenway Effort at Brickyard

Indianapolis, Ind. (July 24, 2010) – Greg Biffle covered the 2.5-mile famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 49.627 (181.353) seconds to qualify seventh for Sunday’s Brickyard 400. Matt Kenseth qualified 13th, while Roush Fenway teammates Carl Edwards and David Ragan will start 19th and 28th.

Indianapolis is one of just two tracks on the Sprint Cup circuit where Roush Fenway, who recently hit the one-million mile mark in Sprint Cup racing, has yet to win. The organization does boast four runner-up finishes in the event.

Biffle Turns Seventh-Fastest Lap in Qualifying at Indy

When the teams drew for qualifying order yesterday, it looked like Greg Biffle and the 3M team had gotten the short end of the stick with 34th.  The track would likely get hotter throughout time trials and an earlier draw seemed a little more ideal.  Biffle, however, went out and turned in a lap time of 49.63 seconds which would be good enought for a starting position on the inside of row four.
