After drawing eighth in the qualifying order, Biffle was hoping to keep a top-10 qualifying spot after his lap during time trials despite being at the top of the chart at the time. His laptime held for a starting position on the outside of row two.
"This 3M/Filtrete Ford is fast," said Biffle. "I'm pretty happy with it and I think it will run just as well in race trim. We made some changes for this weekend and I think we're moving in the right direction. We're looking forward to tomorrow's race and trying to get this car to victory lane."

Greg and the No.16 team head into Chicago currently 10th in the point standings and 450 points out of the lead following his 20th-place finish in Daytona. Greg’s average finish at Chicago is 15.4 from an average starting position of 17.7. At the mid-point of this 2010 season, Greg has already accumulated more points than he had at the mid-point of the previous two seasons! Daytona Beach, FLA. (July 6, 2010) – The holiday weekend in Daytona started off well for Greg Biffle and the 3M team as they were seventh fastest in the first practice and second in Happy Hour. The team seemed confident with their Scotch-Brite Ford Fusion and as qualifying was rained out, would have a solid starting position on the outside of row five. When the race finally started after being delayed for almost two hours for rain Biffle drove to the front and took the lead on lap 14.
Qualifying was cancelled today in Daytona due to rain and the field will be set by points. Greg Biffle will roll off 10th in the Scotch-Brite Ford Fusion.
"The 3M Scotch-Brite Ford was really good in practice," said Biffle. "I'm not sure where we would have qualified but we'll take 10th and get ready to race."
