Ft. Worth, Texas (April 18, 2010) – Persistent rains forced the postponement of Sunday’s scheduled Samsung 500 Sprint Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway. The Nationwide Series race, which had already been postponed from Saturday due to rain, was again postponed to Monday as well.
The Sprint Cup race will be held on Monday at 12 noon EDT and will be televised by FOX, while the Nationwide Race is set for 5 p.m. EDT and will be televised by ESPN2.
Matt Kenseth’s over-the-wall crew captured the Tissot Pit Road Precision Award in Saturday’s (April 10) Subway Fresh Fit 600 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Phoenix International Raceway.
The quick stops by the No. 17 crew helped Kenseth attain a sixth-place finish at the one-mile oval.
Kenseth moves to second in points; Edwards cracks top-10 in points
Avondale, Ariz. (April 10, 2010) – Roush Fenway Racing’s Matt Kenseth and Carl Edwards battled down to the wire for sixth and seventh place-finishes in Saturday night’s Subway Fresh Fit 600 at Phoenix International Raceway. The sixth-place finish moved Kenseth into second in the point standings, while the seventh-place run advanced Edwards six positions to eighth in the Sprint Cup point standings.
Martinsville, Va.(March 29, 2010) – Roush Fenway’s Matt Kenseth made a last lap bid for the victory and the points lead in the rain-delayed Goody’s 500 at Martinsville Speedway, but was knocked out of the way just after taking the lead on the final lap of the 508-lap extended event.
