This season, Dan Stillman comes onboard as the new crew chief for the No.60 Scotts/Save-A-Lot Ford Fusion. Stillman, a Wisconsin native, has been in the motorsports industry for over 25 years and worked with teams such as DEI, KHI, and RPM. Stillman got his start as a shock specialist, but for the past 5 years he has turned his attention towards being a crew chief. Stillman takes over a very talented Nationwide team that finished second in points last year.
Stillman is no stranger to success. In 2008 he was the crew chief for Regan Smith of DEI where his guidance helped Smith win the Raybestos Rookie of the Year Award.
In 2007, at Kevin Harvick Inc. he held the crew chief position for the No. 33 Busch Series Team for the full season and worked with Kevin Harvick, Tony Stewart, Tony Raines, Cale Gale and Ron Fellows.
In the 2006 season, Stillman worked with Paul Menard in the Busch Series at DEI. There, his leadership and knowledge helped push Menard to his first career NASCAR victory at the Milwaukee Mile.
Before Stillman started working as a crew chief, he worked four years as a shock specialist for DEI with driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. In those four years he helped the No.8 get 15 wins. In 1999 he was the shock specialist for RPM, with driver Ricky Rudd.
