CONCORD, NC (November 18, 2009) --- After four years together, Roush Fenway Racing and driver of the No. 26 Ford, Jamie McMurray will part ways after the Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday. McMurray who drove the No. 26 Ford with primary sponsors Crown Royal and IRWIN Industrial Tools announced his plans for the 2010 season on Wednesday to join Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing as the driver of the No. 1 car
"It is a great sadness to have to see Jamie leave our organization as we cut back from five teams to four,” said Jack Roush. “Jamie has tremendous talent and has been an asset to Roush Fenway Racing. We wish him the very best with his future endeavors both personally and professionally."

During his time as a member of the Roush Fenway Racing organization, McMurray achieved two wins including one for the record books during in 2007 at Daytona International Speedway after he battled Kyle Busch down to the last lap, and finally beat Busch to the start/finish line by .005 seconds. The finish tied McMurray for the second-closest finish in NASCAR history. McMurray’s most recent win came November 1st, 2009 at Talladega Superspeedway after he came from behind to claim the victory.
McMurray will take with him a record of two wins, eleven top-5s, and 32 top-10s in the Sprint Cup series while he was a driver at Roush Fenway Racing.
