Me again! We’re here in Atlanta this weekend and its chilly and windy, but luckily no snow or rain in the forecast, which is usually what we encounter here. Atlanta is home to UPS and David Ragan so it’s a busy weekend for us. David and I drove down yesterday morning from Charlotte for the Speedway Childrens Charity Clay Shoot. It was a pretty cool event and it was their third year hosting it. This was the first year David participated and it was fun. I had no clue what to expect, but it’s pretty much like a golf course. You go from spot to spot on a golf cart and there are different angles of the clays at each hole. David did pretty good, but we had to leave before the awards so I’m not sure where he wound up overall. Check out the site for some photos from the event that I took.
Things have been going well so far this year. Vegas was awesome, David flew with the Thunderbirds out at Nellis Air Force base on Thursday before the race. It was really cool to see all of that, I didn’t fly, but it was still really cool. David’s pilot was “Split.” He was a lot of fun…..not sure how he got that call name.
That’s about all from me for now! Be sure to follow me on Twitter @PR6UPSteam.
