CONCORD, N.C. (April 1, 2016) – Roush Fenway Racing has announced the addition of Hayden Siddhartha “Sidd” Finch to its racing program. Finch, who was raised in Leicester, Eng., is slated to run a to-be-determined amount of races this season. The 28-year old was discovered by Roush Fenway talent scouts while racing the streets of Old Orchard Beach, Maine.

“We’re pleased to be able to give Sidd the opportunity to cut his teeth in the XFINITY Series this season,” said Roush Fenway president Steve Newmark. “He’s never raced on an oval before, but he knows the rules, even the NASCAR overtime rules. He won’t tell me how he’s done this except that he ‘learned it in the mountains, in a place called Po, in Tibet.’ That is where he said he had learned to race…up in the mountains, driving carts and meditating.”

Finch, an accomplished Yogi and French Horn player, has not committed to racing a full season with the team yet, as he is also pursuing a career as a professional French horn player.
