The second-place driver in the NASCAR XFINITY Series championship standings made his NSCS debut last weekend in Fontana, earning a 20th-place finish. With the result, Buescher joins Roush Fenway teammates Greg Biffle, Trevor Bayne and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in recording a top-20 finish in their NSCS debut. Biffle, Bayne and Stenhouse earned finishes of 13th, 17th and 11th, respectively in their NSCS debuts.

After five starts, Buescher sits just five points outside of first with three top-five finishes.
