Stenhouse Jr. Leads Roush Fenway With A 4th-Place Finish At Bristol

BRISTOL, Tenn. (April 19, 2015) – Ricky Stenhouse Jr. led Roush Fenway Racing with a fourth-place finish in Sunday’s rain-delayed Sprint Cup race at Bristol Motor Speedway. The finish was a late birthday present for team owner Jack Roush. After starting 25th, Stenhouse and the No. 17 Zest team used early pit strategy to move to the front,  maintaining position inside the top 15 for the race’s second half before moving to the top-five finish.

“Man it was tough; it was a battle all night,” said Stenhouse. “We had our Zest Ford rolling pretty good and we dug hard all night. We got some good pit strategy to get up get us out front. We were able to miss most of the wrecks and keep our Ford ‘Zestfully Clean’ for most of the race. Hopefully we can continue this momentum on the mile and the half tracks later on.”

Trevor Bayne finished 28th and Greg Biffle got caught up in a late accident and finished 30th.
