Stenhouse Jr. on racing at Daytona:

“Our superspeedway cars were strong in Daytona and Talladega earlier this season so I’m looking forward to racing under the lights this weekend. In the past couple of superspeedway races, we were running near the front on the final lap but got caught up in a last lap accident. Our team looks at Daytona as a great opportunity to get the win we need to get ourselves in the Chase, so we will try to keep our Fifth Third Ford near the front and hopefully be in contention to go for the win coming to the checkered.”

Nick Sandler on racing at Daytona:

“We are starting to go back to some of the tracks that we have already been to this year which I feel is very valuable to our No. 17 team. Our superspeedway cars have been strong this season so I’m looking forward to this weekend. In the past, a lot of first time Cup wins have come at the superspeedway races. Ricky is a smart restrictor plate racer so I feel that if he can have his Ford in contention coming to the white flag that we will have a shot to go for the win or will leave Daytona with a solid finish.”
