Chris Buescher Las Vegas Advance


Buescher in 2013 

  • Buescher made seven starts with Roush Fenway Racing finishing 34th in NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) points
  • His best start was eighth at Michigan with an average series start of 14.4
  • His best finish was seventh which he accomplished twice, once at Bristol and Michigan 

Buescher at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

  • 2014 will mark Buescher’s first start at the 1.5 mile track 
  • Buescher has 7 NNS starts on tracks that measure between 1-2 miles with an average start of 15.9 and average finish of 18.3

The Car

  • Primary chassis RK-854 is a new chassis
  • Backup chassis RK-777 was last run at Kentucky in Sept. 2013 by the No. 60 team of Travis Pastrana and was involved in a wreck on lap 59 of the 200 lap race


  • Ford Engines equipped with EcoBoost technology are designed to deliver power and torque consistent with larger engine displacement, naturally aspirated engines while achieving approximately 20% better fuel efficiency and 15% reduced greenhouse emissions than these same engines
  • For 2014, EcoBoost will be available on more than 90% of the FORD nameplates, rising to 95% by 2015
  • More than 100,000 EcoBoost engines are now produced every month


Chris Buescher on Vegas:

 “I’m looking forward to going to another track for first time. We should get in a lot of practice to learn the track characteristics. We have been talking to our teammates about how to get going during practice and up to speed so hopefully it pays off in Vegas.”
