Driver Blog: David Ragan

Hey Everyone! We’re going into an off weekend after Las Vegas. I stopped by Roush yesterday for some meetings and to sign some things for UPS. An off week coming up, but its kind of yearly in the year, I feel like we’re just getting into the rhythm of things and I really don’t want to stop yet. I wish we could trade this off weekend for one in June or July - that would be cool. I’m going to go back home to Georgia to spend a few days and see everyone and the family.

Next week we head to Bristol, which is one of my favorite tracks to go to. Bristol is a tough 500-lap race and it’s always action packed. I do prefer the night race a little bit more than the day race, but never-the-less it’s always exciting at Bristol. We got a Nationwide win there a couple years back and I always look forward to going there. We’ve had some great race cars so far this year, so it’s going to be cool to take one of our newer race cars there to see how fast we can get it.

It’s been a great start to the season for the NASCAR guys, attendance is up and ratings are up. So everyone go out and get your Bristol tickets to come see us next weekend. Hope you all enjoy your off weekend too. The Truck race is this weekend at Darlington so you’ll have a little bit of racing to watch. Other than that we’ll be ready to go for Bristol next week.
