Driver Blog: Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.

Hey everyone!  The season is starting to gain some serious momentum – we’re in the middle of racing 23 of 24 straight weekends and we’re having fun and expecting some good things.

A few weeks ago we finished ninth at Phoenix; it was our first top-10 of the season and that pumped me and the No. 6 CitiFinancial guys up.  We’ve got a couple of fun tracks coming up over the next two weeks.  Darlington is this week and it’s a very historic place.  We’ll be running at night so that will be quite an experience but I am looking forward to it.  After Darlington we will race at Dover, which is like Bristol on steroids.  It’s fast and high banked so that should be fun.

We have a new crew chief for the No. 6 team.  Mike Kelley is now calling the shots and so far things have been awesome.  The expectations are still high and everyone is looking forward to the challenge of the Nationwide Series.  Mike brings a lot of knowledge of the series and he’s a proven winner. 

In Texas and Talladega, I visited several CitiFinancial Branches and got to meet a lot of cool people.  We will be hitting branches all season long so be on the lookout because we may be at one near you.  Check out www.roushfenway.com and www.citifinancialracing.com for more info on me and our team.
