DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- NASCAR announced on Tuesday its 2009 national series schedules, which features realigned dates for the Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Truck series.

There will be a three-way date swap between Atlanta Motor Speedway, Auto Club Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway.

• Atlanta's second 2009 race will be held on Sunday, Sept. 6, taking the Labor Day weekend slot now held by Auto Club Speedway.

McMurray Finishes Top-10 at Michigan for the Second Time in 2008

BROOKLYN, Mich. (August 17, 2008) – This afternoon Jamie McMurray and the No. 26 IRWIN Industrial Tool team backed up their top-10 spring finish at Michigan International Speedway with another top-10 finish in today’s 3M Performance 400. After 200 laps around the two-mile speedway located in Brooklyn, Michigan, McMurray moved up one position to 18th in the Sprint Cup point standings and has now recorded six top-10 finishes in 2008.

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (August 10, 2008) – More important than tires, more important than solid pit stops, when it comes to road course races, it’s come down to fuel mileage strategy. In this afternoon’s race at Watkins Glen International, Jamie McMurray and the No. 26 Crown Royal team felt they had a solid plan going into the race, but when a mid-race caution flag was displayed, the strategy didn’t play out in their favor. The team finished 16th in this afternoon’s Centurion Boats at The Glen.

CONCORD, N.C. (AUGUST 6, 2008) - For the first time ever, Roush Fenway Racing driver Jamie McMurray will be on the other side of the flag stand for the start of a race. Typically, it’s McMurray, piloting his No. 26 Crown Royal Ford Fusion coming to the green flag at speeds of more than 150 miles per hour. This Friday evening, however, McMurray will be the honorary starter for the Crown Royal 200 Grand-Am race at Watkins Glen International. Along with honorary starter duties, McMurray will also present the trophy to the winning driver in Victory Lane.
