NASCAR driver David Ragan will auction off an autographed Shriners Hospitals for Children(SHC)-themed racing helmet on eBay, beginning Dec. 15 and ending Dec. 21. A special edition diecast car featuring a unique Shriners Hospitals for Children paint scheme that Ragan raced this fall, will also be available for purchase in December. Proceeds from both sales will benefit the SHC-health care system.

HOMESTEAD, FLA. (November 15, 2008) – David Ragan and the No. 6 Discount Tire team had a rough end to a great day at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Ragan and the team qualified third for the Ford 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Saturday afternoon, but finished 23rd after an unfortunate scrape with the wall and blown tire on lap 157. Ragan was running in the fourth position at the time of the accident and the team went two laps down due to extensive repairs on pit road.

FORT WORTH, Texas(November 2, 2008) – David Ragan had a top 10 AAA Ford at Texas, but the race came down to fuel mileage and Ragan came up just a little short.
