Accident Ends Townley’s Night Early at Bristol

BRISTOL, Tenn. (August 20, 2008) – John Wes Townley made his first start at Bristol Motor Speedway on Wednesday in the O’Reilly’s 200. Bristol is a challenging track, and often not kind to rookies. Early in the race Townley said that the truck was just a little loose. Crew chief Chad Norris and the team worked hard to correct the problem, but trouble on lap 78 ended the night early for Townley and the Zaxby’s team.

LEBANON, Tenn. (August 9, 2008) – John Wes Townley had a tough night at Nashville Superspeedway on Saturday. After qualifying 18th and getting early damage, he fell back as far as 31st. With smart pit strategy he worked his way back up to 14th place, but within a few laps after that his night was over.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 25, 2008) – Bobby East was off to a good start at O’Reilly Raceway Park this weekend. He kicked it off by winning the USAC Silver Crown race Thursday night, and followed that up with his first career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series pole. It looked as though it might be his night to put the Zaxby’s Ford F-150 in victory lane until an incident on lap 122 ended his shot at a win.

Biffle, Ragan and Kvapil to Race at Cedar Lake Speedway Tonight; Jack Roush to Make an Appearance

Concord, N.C. (July 9, 2008) – If you’re in western Wisconsin tonight and up for some dirt track racing, you might want to head over to Cedar Lake Speedway. As part of 3M night at the Wisconsin dirt track, Greg Biffle, David Ragan, Travis Kvapil and a few other NASCAR stars will be participating in a 20-lap exhibition race.

Biffle participated last year when he raced against Todd Kluever in a 10-lap shootout and is looking forward to his return to Cedar Lake.
